This teaching can be abused just as the Corinthians and other churches abused Paul's teaching. Do not think that this lessens or abolishes the law. The full extent of God's spiritual law is on our heads. But you need to understand what it means in spirit.

When we say that we live by the spirit of the law, what does that even mean? There is a law of the spirit and physical law of sin and death. This is the testament to the spirit of faith that Abraham lived but not that with which the Israelites did. It is the same law of spirit that now comes with Christ Jesus.
